Princess Bellen - Sands Of Salzaar

Princess Bellen

The founder of House Giddah was a general in the First Dynasty of the Old Empire. He retired and became a Sultan. During the Battle of the Black Sun, House Giddah defended their land using knowledge of the blade passed down by their ancestors.

Bellen's father died three years ago. In accordance with House tradition, children of the same generation fought in a tournament to determine the new leader. Only the winner could inherit the leadership of House Giddah and the treasured family sword.

Bellen won the tournament, but her two older sisters (Mumtali Giddah and Yasmin Giddah) plotted against her and framed her for poisoning their father. Bellen did not protest. She understood her sisters’ motives. She left her life as a princess of Giddah behind and became a wandering swordfighter.
